In partnership with the Holy Grill feeding truck of St. Nicholas Episcopal Church, St. Stephen serves breakfast and dinner to the hungry, homeless and the working poor: breakfast each Wednesday at 9 a.m., and dinner on Wednesdays at 5 p.m. The meals are offered in the church's parking lot. On Wednesday morning we also have a clothing ministry in the parking lot. Please be in touch if you would like to volunteer to help. We are collecting clothing donations. We always need men’s/women’s underwear, socks, T-shirts, shorts, towels.
WOULD YOU LIKE TO SERVE AS AN ASSISTING MINISTER AT WORSHIP?
In the liturgy, an assisting minister is a lay person who leads some of the prayers, assists at the altar and distributes holy communion. We have four dedicated assisting ministers, but we need more. If you might feel called to this important ministry, please check off the Assisting Minister Volunteer box on the Sunday attendance card, or contact Ron in the church office.
Do you like electronics?
We are seeking to grow our sound and projection team. These people work the controls in the back of the church for both the sound system and the images we project. Contact Ron in the office if you'd like to know more.
